SCREEN PRINT SHEFF
So the Sheffield football derby is fast approaching, and joshua Fenton Thomas thought it be a grand idea to prepare - by making some special sheffield wednesday silkscreen print t-shirts, complete with 'tango man' emblem.
Together we combined our skills and created these beasts. lets see how many people will want them at the match. Hopefully, it'll be a brawl! Or they'll be covered in pie and beer within the first hour.

A new Psychedelic Screenprint!
I used some pretty delectable colours; turquoise, copper, fluorescent red, silver, and 'glow in the dark' - but thats a surprise until you get them home and slap them on your wall!
Apologies for the hairy photos - taken on an old blackberry camera. Professional i know, but you'll be able to see them better, up for sale in the Grotto! Go on take a look.
So, despite the lack of space in the bedroom, i managed to print 25 six layer Silkscreen prints, ready for sale at the soup kitchen market, and Grotto at the chinese arts centre - Northen quarter, Manchester. (£25 - would make a sweet christmas gift!)

...Bit of a set back!
So our house got broken into on Saturday 25th september - off went my laptop, including all the work ive done tin the last 5 years, and all my housemates too. Fortunately, my physical work is still here, but my photos, hours and hours of slaving away at photoshop/indesign, my university dissertation and everything else digital has all but vanished!
Im just blessed it is all materialistic - and im going to have to see it as turning over a new leaf. More new work to be created then!
I still have Little Zelda, and national geographic 1967!

So its been almost a year!
I admit i've been slacking in the creative department, this year has sped by like a kitten up a curtain. Today marks the first day of proactive 'dertermindness', (if such a word existed).
... few lies, i have won a competition with Umbro, and the greatly talented One69A :
Future everything liveprinting @ the umbro showroom .
Also, i teamed up with the wonderful; Natalie Linney and Janine Obermaier, to create a beast of a festival installation at Manchesters Parklife festival this summer:
Its been a lazy year, but its been a very fun year in my new city - Manchester.
I also have a new Kitten called Zelda, the legend of:

New screenprint for 'Ephemeral' show. 'CODA'

'Sirens were carved on funeral monuments as death eagles chanting dirges to lyre music, but were also credited with erotic designs on the heroes whom they mourned; and, since the soul was believed to fly off in the form of bird, were pictured, like the harpies, as birds of prey waiting to catch and secure it'.

70s dancehall wallpaper.
This is the wallapaper i made for the purple haze exhibition. I used the CMYK screenprinting technique, which was quite possibly one of the biggest printing challenges ive had yet. I think the final outcome was successful! The theme was based on the rise of Jamaican female dancehall artists in the 70's.
